Staff. Our friendly, well-trained staff are always available, but never intrusive. Most Atherton staffers are long tenure and have been with us for at least eight years.

Location. Atherton Place is located on the campus of WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, and overlooks beautiful Kennesaw Mountain.

Services. Services include health resources, transportation services, apartment maintenance, housekeeping (every other week), pest control, trash removal, and 24-hour security.

Health Resources. Scheduled blood pressure checks, Health Promotion programs (to keep you feeling well), free deliveries from three local pharmacies, free membership at Health Place, and physician referral services.

Transportation. Trips to the mall, grocery store, and church. Special group trips or individual trips to the physician of your choice.

Dining. Residents can cook in their own kitchen, or have a chef-prepared meal (either lunch or dinner) in our dining room. With the rent package, apartment living includes one meal a day in our beautiful dining room, which can be either lunch or dinner Monday through Saturday, and either breakfast or lunch on Sunday. Some residents opt to add a second meal a day, which can be done. Catering for special occasions is also available.

Amenities. Amenities include guest accommodations, a hair and beauty salon, sundries shop, emergency call system, laundry facilities, and health club access.

Activities. Dance lessons, craft lessons, bowling outings, bingo and bridge, musical entertainment, holiday parties, shopping trips, chartered bus tours, cruises, and more.

Assisted Living. Assisted Living offers a higher level of individual assistance, including medication reminders; three meals and snacks a day; help with bathing, dressing, and grooming; assistance with appointment scheduling, and transportation.
