At Atherton, you choose your apartment. We offer a range of sizes and styles (from efficiencies to two-bedrooms), all with amenities like full kitchen (with optional dishwasher), emergency call system, 24-hour security, cable-ready TV capabilities, housekeeping services, and more.

Basically, we take care of the details – so you can enjoy the lifestyle. For card players and gamers, we have a bingo and bridge room. For art lovers, a craft center, where ceramics classes are a big hit. We also have weekly movie nights, and we bring in lots of talent to provide live entertainment.

If you bring a car, covered parking is available. But you won't necessarily need it; we have a hair and beauty salon right on the premises. And our Atherton Place limousine (it's really a nice, 18-seat van) makes regular excursions to local attractions.

What else? You won't want to miss the annual craft fair, the sumptuous Thanksgiving dinner, or our holiday open house. (It's the biggest event of the year.) Don't forget to bring your party clothes!

Atherton Place residents receive a free health club membership at WellStar's Health Place, and WellStar Kennestone Hospital is literally just steps away. In other words, we're perfectly situated to keep you healthy – and to respond to a health emergency any hour of the day.

Church services add to the warm and welcoming feeling of our community. We hold Catholic Communion every Friday, and ecumenical worship services on Sunday. A chaplain is on staff and always available to our residents, and we offer a Sunday bus service to area churches.
